Break Free

Break Free is a personal project that explores the visual expression of a desire to escape, using bold yet minimal shapes and a schematic design language. The goal was to create a fast-paced piece with snappy, rhythmic movement and subtle textures. A stylistic exercise in animating simple forms with emotional impact.

The process began with mind mapping to generate conceptual directions, which were then refined through sketches. A moodboard helped gather visual inspiration, focusing on geometric shapes interacting in unexpected, dynamic ways. Once the concept was locked in, I created style frames and a storyboard to shape the visual narrative and guide the animation flow.

The final stage was animation. Bringing the piece to life with energetic timing, precise motion, and intentional transitions to keep the design clean and impactful.
